DayZero 1.0, held on 7–8 April 2025, brought together an energetic community of innovators with 300+ offline and 2500+ online participants. The 36-hour hackathon was hosted across two venues - Mini Hall (7th April) and TP2, 7th Floor (8th April) - creating a dynamic space for collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving.

DayZero 2.0 is a high-energy hackathon where participants collaborate intensively over two days to bring their innovative tech ideas to life. The event focuses on hands-on development, mentorship, and networking rather than theoretical lectures.
The hackathon is open to all tech enthusiasts, including students, developers, designers, and entrepreneurs. Participants of all skill levels are encouraged to join. SRM University students can participate offline, while non-SRM students can participate virtually.
No, participation in DayZero 2.0 is completely free. However, participants will need to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses if attending the offline event.
Participants can register for free at dayzero.codenex.club by completing the registration form before the deadline.
Teams can have 3-4 members. A diverse mix of skills such as coding, design, and problem-solving is encouraged.
DayZero 2.0 will be conducted in hybrid mode on April 16-17, 2026. The offline venue is SRM University, Mini Hall 1 and 2. Virtual participation is also available for non-SRM participants.
Participants should bring their laptops, chargers, and any additional hardware required for their projects. Extension cords are recommended. Caffeine, energy, and creativity are also highly recommended!
