DayZero 1.0 Recap

DayZero 1.0, held on 7–8 April 2025, brought together an energetic community of innovators with 300+ offline and 2500+ online participants. The 36-hour hackathon was hosted across two venues - Mini Hall (7th April) and TP2, 7th Floor (8th April) - creating a dynamic space for collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving.

What is DayZero 2.0?

We're stacking higher this year! DayZero 2.0 HackTheNight is a 36-hour creative sprint organized by CodeNex Club SRM, where designers, developers, and builders come together to create impactful solutions.

  • Internship opportunities will be provided by various startups and companies.
  • It is one of the biggest hackathons in South India.

What is Hack The Night?
Hack The Night is a hackathon where you build creative projects, learn, and collaborate overnight (or late hours).
Who can participate?
Students, beginners, and developers of all skill levels can participate. Its a team-based event (3-4 members per team).
Is there any registration fee?
No. Hack The Night is completely free to attend. Just bring your passion and creativity!
What should I bring?
Bring your laptop, charger, a stable internet connection, and lots of ideas. Optional: extensions or cords.
How do we submit our project?
You'll submit a GitHub repo link and/or a demo link as per the event instructions. Check the submission guidelines announced by the team.
What prizes are there?
There are exciting prizes for the top teams, including intership opportunities and cool swag. Stay tuned for the official prize announcement!
